The game of craps is a dice game and therefore the outcome of a craps casino game relies totally on the dice that are thrown.  Players take turns shooting the craps dice while the other players bet on the outcome of their roll and the numbers that they roll determine who wins and who loses.

The fate of the game can be determined as early as the first roll, known as the come-out roll.  If the player rolls 7 or 11 in the come-out roll then the player wins and the game ends.  Players that bet on the shooter winning by placing bets on the pass bar win.  Players that bet on the shooter losing, by betting on no-pass lose.  The player may also roll craps dice on the come-out roll.  Craps numbers are 2, 3 and 12.  When craps is rolled on the opening roll the player automatically loses.

So far we have covered the craps numbers of 2, 3, 7, 11 and 12.  You must be asking yourself what happens if a player rolls a 1, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 in the come-out roll.  If one of these numbers is rolled to start the game then this number becomes the player’s “point”.  This means that the player must re-roll this number before rolling a 7 to finish the game.  If the player rolls a 7 before re-rolling their point this is known as 7-out and the player loses.  However, if the player re-rolls his or her point then he or she wins.

In the craps casino game there are also several numbers that you can bet on for larger payouts.  If you bet on these numbers then you are betting that the next roll will be the number you have bet on.  If you bet on 11, for instance, you can win a 15:1 payout!  Some numbers pay out larger amounts, some pay less.
