Craps Players
Without a doubt you have seen the groups of players yelling around the craps tables if you’ve ever been to Vegas. Whether you joined in the game or not, there should be no question about it that these crapshooters are having a fantastic time, whether they are winning or losing.
Craps is a dice game in which players take turns shooting the dice. Other players bet on the outcome of the shooters roll. Different dice combinations and results determine whether or not the player wins or loses and, therefore, whether the betters win or lose. When a player rolls 7 or 11 on their opening roll, known as the come-out roll, they automatically win, as does everyone who bet on them winning the game. When the come-out roll is a craps roll: 2, 3 or 12 the player automatically loses. You will usually sense a feeling of camaraderie around a craps table as players root for each other as they roll the dice.
Craps players tend to be people who know a lot about odds and like the excitement of playing a game that determines so heavily on them. Craps players know that you can’t always win but the more you play the more you will find bets that can win with.
Craps is also a game for the social gambler. If you don’t like to play with large groups or bet or count on other people then you should stick to solo games like slots, keno and video poker. However, if you want to be part of a raucous crowd around the table having a fantastic time then craps is the game for you.
