Craps Table
If you have ever been to Vegas or to any casinos around the world then you have surely witnessed the throngs of people huddled around the craps table, cheering with their fingers crossed and a look of anticipation in their eyes. Maybe you wanted to join in the fun but were discouraged because of the complicated and intimidating looking table. The truth is, the game of craps is quite simple and once you read a quick explanation of the table you won’t be able to wait to start playing.
A craps table is usually covered in green felt with a white printed diagram indicating the areas for different types of bets. When you want to place a specific bet you simply place your chips in the allotted section. The player with the dice rolls and you win or lose based on the outcome of the rolls. The board is a mirror image on either side to allow more players to get in on the action and it doesn’t matter which side you place your bet on.

There are several options for betting that can be found on the craps table. The most basic bet is the pass line bet. Pass line bets win if the roller wins and lose if the roller loses. The don’t pass bar, on the other hand, wins when the shooter loses (with the exception of a roll of 12). Come and Don’t Come bets are like the pass and don’t pass bets, but are placed after the point is established. Many craps bets also bet on the outcome of the next throw. These include the Field Bet, the 7 Bet and Craps Bets. You may also place Hardway bets in the center of the table and bet on the exact dice rolls, which are mostly doubles.
If you still feel intimidated simply watch a craps game for a few minutes and you will get the hand of the craps table and game in no time.
